buttons.buttons.buttons.buttons.buttons

When you're just about tall enough to reach a light switch and elevator buttons as a child, it suddenly opens this whole new world of possibilities. Suddenly you're inclined to push every button you find and flick every switch that you can reach. (...and stick your finger in every electric-socket hole possible, just for shiggles.)
Today I saw a dad lift up his little boy so he could put his change into a water-dispenser machine and press the button, because he asked him if he could. It made me smile almost too much as it reminded me of how magical everything seems as a kid.
Genuine happiness at the push of a single button.
